What are the causes of neck pain?
Neck pain is prevalent and can be highly debilitating, especially among older individuals. In recent years, low-level laser therapy (LLLT) has become a widely available treatment option for managing neck pain. It offers a non-invasive and well-established approach to easing discomfort.
The significance of our neck’s role in daily activities often becomes apparent only when issues arise, leading to restricted mobility and persistent discomfort, prompting the search for effective pain relief.
Neck pain affects approximately 40-70% of the population at some point in their lives. The causes often stem from everyday habits, such as the pressure exerted on neck vertebrae during activities like driving, and poor posture during prolonged sitting. According to the British Medical Journal, certain occupations like clerical, service industries, and agriculture show increased prevalence, particularly among individuals aged 50 to 55.
Symptoms associated with neck pain may include headaches, stiffness in the neck, shoulders, and upper back, difficulty in turning the neck or tilting the head, and sensations of numbness or tingling in the shoulders or arms.
Causes of neck pain
Various disorders, injuries, and diseases can lead to neck pain. Examples include deterioration of neck vertebrae, whiplash from rapid forward and backward head movement, or a herniated disc putting pressure on a nerve between neck vertebrae.
Neck pain can also arise from infections affecting the throat, lymph glands, meningitis, or other illnesses. Additionally, medical conditions such as fibromyalgia, polymyalgia, and arthritis may contribute to neck pain.
What are the Treatment Options for Neck Pain?
Neck pain can be addressed with rest, exercise, massage, physical therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, cortisone injections, and topical anesthetic creams. However, none of these options provide the convenience and sustained relief from persistent pain that B-Cure Laser offers.
Using B-Cure Laser for Neck Pain
Today, many people turn to the innovative B-Cure Laser for relief from neck pain, utilizing low-level laser therapy (LLLT) at home. This portable device is clinically proven through multiple scientific studies to effectively alleviate pain from musculoskeletal injuries (Bjordal 2003; Marini 2010; Öz 2010) and arthritis (Brosseau 2005).
Dr. Roberta Chow from the University of Sydney, Australia, analyzed data from 16 controlled trials involving 820 individuals treated for neck pain with LLLT. The findings revealed that those undergoing laser therapy were four times more likely to experience pain reduction compared to those receiving a placebo.
According to The Lancet, “The results of LLLT in this review compare favourably with other widely used therapies and especially with pharmacological interventions, for which evidence is sparse and side effects are common.”
As the UK’s population ages and mobility issues become more prevalent, non-drug interventions like LLLT offer significant benefits for emotional and physical well-being, without apparent side effects.
A clinical study conducted at Parma University in Italy demonstrated the significant efficacy of the B-Cure Laser for treating joint conditions.
Why Select B-Cure Laser for the Treatment of Neck Pain?
The B-Cure Laser represents a breakthrough in laser therapy, leveraging the power of professional clinic-based lasers. Designed as a lightweight, portable device, it provides pain relief conveniently at home. The treatment is safe and effective, offering sustained pain relief with regular use.
Using the B-Cure Laser involves placing it in contact with the skin, allowing photon energy to penetrate tissues. This stimulation triggers the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which fuels cellular energy. ATP interacts with biomolecules within cells, promoting normal cellular function and enhancing the body’s natural healing processes.

As a result, patients experience accelerated recovery from muscular, skeletal, and nerve injuries, with improved cellular regeneration and function.
Therapeutic effects of low-level laser therapy (LLLT)
- Increased production of ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate)
- Increased cellular metabolism
- Increased collagen production
- Increased enzyme production
- Increased protein synthesis
- Improved blood circulation
- Improved lymphatic flow and drainage
- Reduced inflammation
All this serves to boost the body’s natural healing power, targeting the root causes of pain and providing rapid relief.

Treatment Protocol
Position the device beneath the earlobe for 8 minutes. After treating one side, adjust the device for an additional 8 minutes and treat the area beneath the earlobe on the opposite side of the neck.
Once done, set the device for another 8 minutes and position it along the cervical spine. Continue treatment for 8 minutes without any movement.
Regular users of B-Cure Laser therapy, such as Angela in the video above, indicate pain relief is delivered within days.
For ease of use, an adjustable stand is available to stabilise the device and provide treatment without movement, allowing the laser beam to penetrate deeply into the tissues.
For optimal results, repeat the treatment at least twice a day.
